The Worldbuilder’s Handbook

From day one, you’ll join Garet and his brilliant team of Worldbuilders, including Flint the tortoise, Head of Land Design, and the rest of the crew, who each bring their own skills and interests. You’ll lead the team, making decisions that’ll shape everything. By the end, you’ll have a world containing a new species, complete with their own customs, way of life, and annual festival. 

This course is immersive, detailed, and so much fun. It’s a safe space for making bold choices and exploring the wildest of ideas. Garet takes worldbuilding seriously, and you’ll soon find yourself matching his dedication.

What You’ll Do:

• Design landscapes, weather systems, and natural events
• Create ecosystems full of life, including your own species of creature
• Build cultures and societies with rules, values, and festivals
• Practise writing with similes, metaphors, and “show, don’t tell”
• Face dramatic turning points, and write a story that showcases your world
